I worked in advertising for ten years as a designer and photographer for Canadian and international brands before photographing my first wedding in 2003. Since then, I’ve travelled to nine countries and photographed hundreds of multicultural events of all sizes.

People choose me as their wedding photographer for my candid, intimate, and relaxed photographs in what can often be a stressful, and emotionally charged day.

My “photography style” has less to do with trying to match a current trend, and more to do with my ability to enter a room and simply put people at ease. This method of working has been honed over twenty years of photographing a wide range of multicultural weddings across Canada and Europe.

I live outside of Toronto with my wife and three kids and photograph weddings and other private family events each weekend, locally in the Southern Ontario area as well as a few select destination weddings each year.

  • Each commission is different so I provide a proposal based on the specifics of your wedding day.

    The range however, is between 5-15k depending on a wide range of factors.

  • Of course! In fact, most of my clients ask that I keep their photographs completely private and offline.

    Just ask and I’ll add that in our contract.

  • The number of images varies from wedding to wedding.

    Some weddings are two hours long, some three days long.

    So I can’t promise a set number of shots per hour or per wedding, however most couples get a gallery with several hundred images.

    These are delivered to you on a private website / print ordering site. You will have the ability to download the completed set of logo free high resolution files as well.

I typically deliver the final set of images anywhere from ten days to a month after your wedding date - again, depending on the scale of the event, the number of shots I need to go through varies, and that takes time. There are AI tools that do faster work, but I prefer the human element in the creative process, so I do all culling and colour and black and white work myself.

  • A contract will be sent to you that is signed online, and a 50% retainer is due at the time of signing to secure your date.

    Bookings are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • I sure do.

    I charge a travel fee based on the travel time or location, and any required overnight accommodations or flights.

    This figure will be included in your proposal.

    For weddings within two hours of my home in Elora I do not charge a fee to drive to your wedding.

  • No thank you.

    I find that having a set of expected images is too much pressure and the resulting images are often cookie cutter in nature.

    I prefer to observe and document as the wedding takes place.

    Now with that said - if there are certain elements of the day that are unique and you want me to pay extra attention during that time, please do let me know.

    For a few very large multi day events I do bring someone else with me, but I find that working alone allows me to be full engaged and present in doing what I do best.
