I’m a documentary wedding photographer, and since 2004 I’ve shot hundreds of weddings all over — places like Italy, Greece, South of France, Japan, the Bahamas — but mostly in my own backyard in and around Toronto, including surrounding areas like cottage weddings in Muskoka to beautiful vineyard weddings in Niagara on the Lake.
My approach is really laid-back. It’s based on the art of observation over fabrication. I like to blend in, let things happen naturally, and capture the real moments so couples can just enjoy their day without worrying about the camera.
Before doing this type of work, I worked as a designer and commercial photographer, so I care a lot about the details and making the photos feel timeless and honest.
When couples hire me they know that I’m personally involved in every aspect of their wedding: I shoot, edit, and deliver everything myself — it’s all very personal.
