MEET ANDREAS — TORONTO DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I’ve done this hundreds of times, for couples locally and abroad. Trust me on this: experience and confidence matters when deciding who will photograph your wedding. I firmly believe that a very small part of what I do as a photographer has anything to do with my cameras. Wedding photography for me, isn’t about chasing trends, or playing it safe. It’s not about recreating the same images each week.
It’s about connecting with those in the room so that I can capture those honest, intimate, personal human moments that are unique to you, and your wedding day.
My ability to work closely with people I’ve just met while establishing a sense of trust and comfort is my superpower as a photographer — it’s what allows me to provide a wedding photography experience that’s relaxed and stress-free.

When I photograph a wedding, I do so from the perspective of a guest, focusing on capturing those authentic interactions with your guests in the most natural and relaxed way possible.
I’ve photographed weddings for as long as I’ve been married, and I’m at a point in my own life where I can completely understand what you’re going through, but also see the wedding day through your parents eyes as well — this informs what I pay attention to so that I can capture photographs that you’ll use to tell your own stories of this day years from now.
My way of working is very casual. I am there with you, to experience the day you’ve planned out. I shoot what actually happens during the day, not some manufactured version of it.
You get your wedding photographed from start to finish, and in a way that eliminates a lot of the fuss and stress often associated with “wedding photography”.
I live in the small town of Fergus Ontario, just an hour or so outside of Toronto with my incredible wife Renée, and our two phenomenal daughters: Amelia, the passionate, intelligent musical genius, and Isabelle, our resident super athlete and aspiring doctor and Olympic swimmer.
As both a husband and father, if there’s one thing I’m most proud of having achieved in my life, it’s being able to provide a supporting role in each of their lives.
It’s an honour to be invited into the lives of those that I get to photograph, and a role that I don’t take lightly.
If you are interested in having me document your upcoming wedding, I would love to have the opportunity to speak with you about your plans.
