Please take the time to read this before inquiring today - I want you to know as much as possible before contacting me.
What I do as a documentary wedding photographer is very specific — and how I do it isn’t for everyone. This may be for you though, depending on what you value the most.
Documentary photography isn’t about fabricating anything, or creating the same cookie-cutter template images seen all over social media — it’s about making something truly unique, personal and specific to just the two of you.
I focus in on what actually matters, and what people always tell me is most important to them — images of the fleeting moments, perfect or not, of how they experienced their day.
When you hire me as your photographer, the images I create are inspired by your relationship with one another, the stories told by your friends and family, and informed by my own life experience of being happily married for over twenty years, and being a father to three teenagers.
Some important things to know about what I do and provide you with.
I photograph weddings as if I were photographing a family member. It’s about capturing images that are personal and unique to the two of you, that honour your tradition and culture, and focus on the people and their experience of your wedding day
Coverage always starts with me coming to your rehearsal to meet everyone so that on the wedding day things are easy and relaxed
On the wedding day, I usually start around two hours before the ceremony and I leave about an hour into the party. That’s often within the 8-9 hour range which is more than enough time to capture the essence of the day
I personally photograph your wedding and handle the creative process including all image curation, post production and editing and delivery of your photographs to your home
You’ll receive a set of twelve of the best photographs, printed and delivered to you along with a digital archive of all of the high resolution photographs
A private web gallery will be provided to you as well to share with friends and family

Booking me is quite simple.
Let’s start by checking my availability, and then having a conversation to get to know one another.
I respond to all emails and texts the same day I get them, and I’m available during business hours to have a phone call.
If your date is still available, we’ll schedule a time to talk in detail about your plans and get to know one another. This is usually a 30-45 minute phone call.
Shortly after that discovery call, you’ll receive a contract to review and approve online.
50% of the total is due along with the signed contract to secure your wedding date.
The balance is due five days prior.
You can contact me today by sending me an email, phone me, or send a quick text. Whatever works best for you.
Thanks for your time, I’m looking forward to getting to know you.

Past recent client reviews.
We had a wonderful experience with Andreas! His pictures were exactly what we had hoped for and really captured our special day. He was incredibly easy to get along with and made the extra effort to shoot our wedding even after a very long flight the night before. Definitely recommend!
– Christy McKean, Bride
“I booked Andreas as my documentary photographer because of how comfortable and beautiful the women in his photos look”
– Vanja Petkovich
I’ve booked Andreas to shoot my wedding because I was so inspired by not only his work and portfolio but also his energy, kindness, and passion. He’s very flexible and accommodating plus communication is always open.
– Lindsay and Taylor
“Andreas knows how to capture emotion. It’s very easy for someone to come and take a bunch of photos but to capture emotion takes a special eye and makes those photos come to life.”
– Michael Marzetti
