The Six Stages of Working Together.

01. Private Correspondence

A first conversation, often over the phone, will be scheduled a time that’s most convenient with you. Your planner can also book a call with me.

02. The Photography Proposal

Within 24 hours of that first discover call, a custom proposal will be sent to you (or your planner) on a private page to review and approve online.

The proposal will cover photography time, travel requirements, and any finished presentation such as prints or albums.

03. The Agreement & Retainer

Once the agreement has been reviewed and accepted, a retainer is paid to secure the date. Securing this date means that I will no longer be available for anyone else on that date, and as such, the retainer is considered a non-refundable fee.

04. Research and Site Visit

If the location property is within commuting distance, a visit ahead of the wedding date will be done to meet the on site event manager and get a feel for the space. If travel isn’t possible, I usually contact the event management to discuss the logistics of the day as well.

For weddings that involve travel, this visit usually takes place a few days before the event when I arrive.

05. The Wedding Day

I am there as a guest for all intents and purposes, working discreetly and with a light touch to ensure the experience of your wedding day is as authentic as possible.

I work alone for most weddings, and often cover the wedding day from the start of the day to the end.

06. The Visual Archive & Presentation

Several weeks after your wedding, a link to a private, password-protected gallery will be shared with you.

You’ll use this gallery to view, order prints or albums as you wish, and download the high resolution photographs.

You may also share this gallery with friends and family. Your printed presentation of either prints or albums will be produced in the coming months after your wedding day and shipped directly to your home.
